The only thing wrong with this (and its 3 companions) is that there aren't MORE of these books! Written by Maya Angelou with a heart for helping kids understand different cultures around the world.... I just wish there were more kids from more countries represented!My 3-4 year old LOVED reading these books - and they gently teach that different is not inherently wrong. A lesson many of us adults need to be reminded of at times... WELL worth the purchase (our library's only copy is frequently checked out / gone). |
