I bought one of these intending to use it as an easy-to-wash rug/floor mat in a kitchen where we need to dry up water spills. It is not good for that purpose at all. It doesn't lie flat enough to use as a rug. The bumps in the surface and around edges cause people to trip on it. It may make a good horse blanket, but don't attempt to use it as a rug. I guess I would consider this my mistake for trying to use it for a purpose other than what it was intended for.
