As a children's author, I look for two things in a book. Does it hold my interest as the adult and does it hold the child's interest. This book does both! It is so beautifully illustrated and the words are simple and soothing. I would highly recommend this book for the younger child, ages 1-4. My 9 month old son and I love to read this book together. The pictures capture his attention and he loves it when I do what the animal mommies are doing in the pictures. It's a great book!
