I have stubbornly straight eyelashes. I heat my eyelash curler before curling and then apply mascara. But, the wrong mascara -- waterproof or not, or expensive or not -- will cause my eyelashes to straighten again. My old mascara by Loreal was discontinued so I was desperate for a new mascara. I am SO happy to discover Maybelline's Lash Discovery. The waterproof version is GREAT -- doesn't smudge and comes off easily with makeup remover. The little wand makes it easy to apply and very precise. It is even better than the one I used before and I am SO happy to have found it!

I love this mascara! It has tiny bristles on the wand, which means NO CLUMPS! Even though it is waterproof it washes off easily with a cleanser or makeup remover. I have very long and "unruly" lashes and this is the only mascara in a long time that I've been truely happy with.

I've been using this product for years. Every so often I will buy another brand of so-called "waterproof" mascara (I always like to be prepared!), but I am always disappointed in other mascaras! None of them are as waterproof as this one. The tiny brush gets all of my lashes and makes them look so long. My lashes are long on their own, but they are light brown with blonde tips so you can't really see them well unless I put mascara on. I put 2-3 coats on them and they look great; I've had many compliments on my long lashes. And this mascara trumps all others! This is a staple in my makeup bag.

*Note: if you are looking to make your lashes look thicker, this probably isn't the right product to use. If length and waterproof-ability is what you're going for, look no further!

I've tried them all. This is by far the best mascara because of the applicator. It is narrow so you can get right down to the lash line without getting mascara all over the place. My only wish is that they come out with a true brown.

The reasons I prefer it over others may be the exact reasons it is not everyone's favorite.

- It goes on cleanly - no clumps or bulkiness

- Because it's waterproof it doesn't uncurl otherwise straight lashes that you just curled with an eyelash curler

- It doesn't flake off into my eyes during the day

- The shorter brushes on the wand make the mascara a lot easier to apply to your lashes and avoid brushing onto your skin

- Inexpensive enough that you don't mind replacing it every three months like you are supposed to.

I want my lashes to be visible but look natural. This mascara is not for Tammy Faye Bakers of the world.

I am not a makeup junkie so I have to rely on other reviewers to find out good products. So after reading good reviews I decided to give it a try. And I should say that I am happy with it. It's very lite on lashes & lasts for a long time. The small brush works really well for me. My only complaint is that it's hard to wash it off. I use good quality makeup remover & not cheap ones. My all other makeup cleans up right away with that remover except this mascara. I have to wash it 2 time to remove it. Otherwise a great product.

The mascara itself is great, but the brush is so tiny. Its great for those hard to reach lashes and lower lashes, but overall I wish the brush wasnt so tiny.

If you thought it will change ,you are wrong.

first the slowest shipped i have never seen .it take over a week.

the mascara almost dry ,can't use at all .
