This has to be one of the most under-rated groups in R&B history. It seems as if this is Troop's last album as a group, and it's a shame. Even though Troop's lead singers' voices have somewhat diminished, this group still put it down - far more better than most of these other ,less equipped but somehow, more popular groups. The slows jams are the bomb. And there first release, an up-tempo, "The Way I parlay" is hot. If they had the proper management, they could of easily had blown up!

I love every song on this cd and the interludes tell a great story. The harmonies are tight too! Troop did this whole album themselves and did it their way. You all need to check it out. I also want to say that the guys are back and are still sounding great! Meanwhile, definately get Mayday. You won't be disappointed! I miss this kind of music.

I remembered when Troop put out Mayday in 1998. I still can't believe that Atlantic Records dropped them from their roster in the mid-90s. But they picked themselves back up and put their album on an independent label. They still sounded good on that album. And I liked when one of the singers mentions one of their past hits, Mamacita, in a song, proving that they remember their past as well as looking to their future. I wished this album could have been promoted more, but I'm sure that they were happy with how it came out. I like that Steve Russell produced most of this album and the members wrote the songs on here. They have proven time and time again that they are a fabulous vocal group!

Troop you are my babies... all of your albums are the bomb. I'm missing you very much. Please come back, we need you out here in the R&B game.

i am glade that this group is back. i love troop i love the mayday cd it is so good. but i never here it on the radeo. well troop i am glad that you are back.

THIS ALBUM IS REALLY HOT!! I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY TROOP DOESN'T GET THE LOVE OF SAY SILK OR BOYZ TO MEN. THESE GUYS ARE FOR REAL. THEY'VE BEEN IN THE BUSINESS FOR THE LAST 12 OR 13 YEARS AND THEY ARE IN MY MIND STILL AT THE PINNACLE OF R&B/SOUL. THIS ALBUM IS A MUST HAVE. COME ON DJ'S! PLAY TROOP ON THE AIRWAVES. PEOPLE ARE BEING DEPRIVED OF GOOD OLD-FASHIONED R&B.

IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT YET GO AND GET IT!!!! THIS CD IS OFF THE HOOK. WE MISSED YOU TROOP!!! KEEP MAKIN THE GREAT MUSIC THAT YOU DO. YOU ARE THE #1 R&B GROUP.

Troop never got the props they deserved if you never heard this cd don't sleep on it. This cd did not get much radio play but just because they don't play it on the radio does not mean it's not a good cd i play mayday allday.

The new Troop cd is the bomb. But it needs more air play on the east coast. They still have fans over here. Their cd sounds as if they never left. WE STILL LOVE TROOP! always and forever!

THE GUYS IN TROOP HAVE ALL GROWN UP AND NOW THEY HAVE A MORE MATURE SOUND. YOU KNOW ITS TROOP WHEN YOU HEAR IT. I WAS A TROOP FAN FOR YEARS PRIOR TO BECOMING FRIENDS WITH THEM & THIS IS THE BEST ONE YET.YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!!
