The seat arrived in good condition, packed well. The fit was perfect and took about 10 minutes to install. The only problem I had with this product was the color. I have to say that it looked exactly like the photo that was provided. Sometimes pictures are a little darker than the actual color shown, but this one was very accurate and I was hoping the actual product would be a lighter color of cherry. Having said that, we deceided to keep it even though it was much more red than we would have liked it to be. Bottom line, it's comfortable and looks nice, and if you want a really dark cherry toilet seat, then this is the one.

This has to be the worst toilet seat ever. Do not buy this. I purchased this in January and by April it had disintegrated. Yes you heard me right. It looks gorgeous but you would not expect any less from this cherry piece....but it can not handle moisture in a bathroom! The metal joints totally disintegrated and left a terrible stain on my toilet. It broke in half and is utterly bad. Do not buy it.

yikes! this is not Natural Cherry Wood at ALL. this is some kind of composite that is painted or finished with an odd reddish pattern having nothing to do with any kind of wood grain.

if you are looking for a replacement cherry WOOD seat, you'll need to look elsewhere. I miss the cherry seats they used to sell at Home Depot. those seats looked like real wood. sadly they don't carry them any longer. wish I'd kept the mfr name.

As toilet seats go this is a toilet seat and works like a toilet seat...But I was expecting wood grain look with a shiney finish...No wood grain and no shine..It has a fairly even matt finish in varying shades of very dark brownish/redish colors......On the plus side it is well made with nice brass hardware..I paid a total with shipping of $29 dollars so for that price I have a new clean seat that looks pretty nice.. and that is good.

Beautiful seat! Easy to install and maintain. Fits with decor perfectly. Is definitely dark color.

This seat adds a little class to my old bathroom!! Easy to assemble, brass fittings add a nice touch, and the dark cherry finish is beautiful. I bought this toilet seat because my old natural finish wooden seat cracked, and the description on this one with the wood vaneer made it sound like it would not crack. Before I ordered it, I was a little apprehensive about the color, but now that it's in my bathroom, I couldn't be happier...

How much can you say about an item of this nature? It is of excellent quality and looks as good as a single colored one can get. The brass fittings are a nice touch. The only disappointing experience that I have had with this item is that none of my guests to this date have emerged from my bathrom with extatic praise. I just don't understand that.

I looked all over town for a cherry colored toilet seat with no luck. Of course I went to Amazon.com and
right away I found this seat. It is a very nice color, good craftsmanship and I am very happy with my purchase.

My old seat was ripped and I wanted to replace it so I ordered this one being one of the only reddish colored seat available. On Christmas Eve, before my house party, the old seat hinges snapped and I was left to put the new one on before company arrived and before evening mass. The old seat was a pain to remove but this new one went on quickly. It looks great and works perfectly-opening and closing the lid.

Only after reading several of these reviews did I become concerned that I had ordered this. However, it is an exceptionally nice-looking seat -- somewhere between a kind of mulled plum and cherrywood color; not high gloss -- more softly-finished than that. It is well-made and the brass shines and shines. It is a wonderful addition to our bathroom -- don't hesitate to purchase.
