3-5 Players | Ages 8+ | 25+ Minutes

Components Overview:
54 Cards. Each Card depicts an animal and has 2 different colors at both ends. There are 6 Animals: Bison, Deer, Horse, Ram, Mammoth, and Rhinoceros. And 6 Colors: Green, Yellow, White, Blue, Pink, and Brown.
50 Stones. Act as the currency for bidding for cards.
30 Cardboard tokens (5 sets of 6 Tokens) Set is denoted by a common back with 6 different colors on the front.
1 Rule Book

Setup:
Shuffle the deck and place near the side of the table.
Each Player takes a Set of tokens with a matching symbol on the back.
Each Player takes 12 stones or 10 each in a 5 Player Game.
All unused tokens and stones are put back in the box and will not be used.
Youngest player goes first.

Gameplay:
The First player draws cards from the top of the deck and lays them in a line through the middle of the table until 2 conditions are met. Either 1 of each color (6) is showing OR until 7 cards are on the table.
Every player takes their tokens and secretly selects ONE token and places it face down in front of them, choosing a color they wish to obtain.
Then in clockwise order players choose either to bid a stone to the middle of the table or pass.
If you bid a stone, then the next player has the same choice. If you do not have any stones, you must pass.
If you pass, take all the stones currently in the middle of the table into your supply and place your chosen token in the center of the table face down in a stack, possible on top of someone else who passed before you, and you are skipped until one player has not passed.

This is a jewel of a game, it has beautiful pieces, the learning curve is fast, so it can be played as a party game, for non gamers, can be up to speed in less than 5 minutes, it's fun and fast so it keeps the attention on the game. Ok for children, we played with a 5 year old and he did a good run and as a filler for highly competitive players, the strategy is there. It's based on a bidding mechanism, some people doesn't like or get frozen with this mechanic, from what we learned, there is no time for analysis paralysis.
