Excellent reference book for a descendant,
This review is from: Mayflower Families Through Five Generations (Vol. 15: James Chilton and Richard More) (Hardcover)
Having a confirmed ancestry to the James Chilton line, I have found this book to be an invaluable tool in my research. It has a very good writeup of what is known of the life of James Chilton and proceeds to cover the 5 generations of his descendants. I only wish some of my other lines had this level of detail!

This was a great reference book in tracking the Mayflower Chilton line through the 6th generation.

Don't be fooled by the "1 available" blurb, they don't have it. I have been waiting four months for the copy I ordered. Every month they reschedule delivery for five weeks later. Oh, they WILL bill your credit card at time of purchase--they just wont tell you they don't have the book until it is time to ship. If you really want this book, pay the big bucks and buy it used.

My brother has been working on our family tree for about 40 yrs, and there were some gaps that he couldn't fill. I found this book on Amazon.com that covered the first 5 generations, starting with Mayflower passengers. It was just what we needed to complete the 10 generations of Mayflower descendents and qualify for membership in the Mayflower Society.
