The Mayo Clinic Heart Book is essential to anyone with heart disease, at risk, or has a family member at risk (which is pretty much everyone). I am a pre-med student and found it very helpful in my studies. It is engaging, comprehensive, and a good informational read for anyone interested in the heart.
