This book really shows that the Boba Fett series is great.,
By Jon Kohut (Jersey) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Maze Of Deception (Star Wars: Boba Fett, Book 3) (Paperback)
Although I still think I liked The Fight To Survive the most out of all the books this one is almost as good. This one rounds out the three Boba Fett books (I shouldn't say that, Elizabeth Hand is making a book 4) and it tells about Boba and Auraa Sing. (the bounty hunter) If you liked the other two books I'd buy this book.

This review is from: Maze Of Deception (Star Wars: Boba Fett, Book 3) (Paperback)
This is the third book in the Boba Fett series. Young Fett teams up with fellow bounty hunter Aurra Sing to get money from his father's bank acount. In the book, most of Fett's money is stolen and he runs into Jabba the Hutt's nephew. Later, after being chased by Sing, Fett gets his ship back and flies off the planet with very little money. (...)

Boba Meets Banking Clan,
By Boba Fett (Huntsville, Texas) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Maze Of Deception (Star Wars: Boba Fett, Book 3) (Paperback)
This is te best of all the Young Fett Books, clearly a five star read. The only thing that disquists me is that it didn't show much of Slave 1. Howevver, to enyoy this book you must read Fight to Survive and Crossfire first. A must read for Boba Fett fans and Bounty Hunter wannabes alike.

This is a must read for Boba Fett fans and regular Jedi freaks alike. It is the best of all the Star Wars books for young readers. The only bad thing about it is there wasn't much Slave 1 action. Boba sure shows Aurra Sing in this one

Boba Fett: Maze of Deception,
This review is from: Maze Of Deception (Star Wars: Boba Fett, Book 3) (Paperback)
This was one of my favorite Boba Fett books, other than The Fight to Survive and probably Crossfire. I like the story from Boba's point of view (I liked the description of the arena battle in book #1 better than the movie version), and I like how Aurra Sing is such a main character. I think I caught a mistake by the new author: in Crossfire, #2, Aurra Sing said that there were fortune deposits left by Jango Fett all over. But in the end of this one, Boba didn't go looking for them or try to. Otherwise, this was a very good story, with adventure and deception (hence the title!), and the author's style was good. I have enjoyed the entire Boba Fett series, and would buy them all.

Star Wars: Boba Fett #3: Maze of Deception, by Elizabeth Hand
"Maze of Deception" is the third book in a six book series on the life of young Boba Fett. In this installment, Boba and Aurra Sing journey to Aargau, the banking planet of the galaxy. Similar to Coruscant, Aargau is a layered planet; the lowest levels are the most dangerous, full of the scum of the galaxy. Aurra Sing, a very dangerous bounty hunter, takes Boba to Aargau to get half of Jango Fett's fortune. Boba, naturally, isn't keen on splitting his inheritance with her, and makes a dangerous escape to keep the entire fortune for himself. But can a young, inexperienced boy really avoid all the pitfalls a planet like Aargau holds? I found "Maze of Deception" to be an okay book in the Boba Fett series. A week after reading it I've already forgotten most of it, so it's not that memorable. Younger readers will enjoy Boba's exploits on Aaragu, and his gradual evolution into the great Boba Fett of Star Wars Legend. 2/5.

My sons aren't normally the types to sit around with a book, but they both couldn't put this book down. My oldest started reading it the day it came in the mail and had it finished by the next morning. He didn't go to sleep until he finished the book. I would highly recommend it to any Star Wars Clone Wars fans and I am thankful to have finally found some books that make my kids want to read and read and read!
