In my search for rock that wasn't "popified" or ordinary, I stumbled upon Waking [...] Every song on 'Maze' is an exemplary specimen of great rock, making the CD easy to listen to all the way through. Perf's vocals are a mix of APC and Tool's Maynard & Fuel's Bret, J.P.'s guitar riffs are powerful and unique, and the band has a chemistry that is essential in creating awesome rock. At 6.99, you'd be crazy to not try Waking's 'Maze.'

The Maze is one of those select few albums that you can't seem to get enough of. Waking has talent and they sound just as good live as they do on their cd. *Shoutoutz to the guys*

When crafting an explosive sound, a top notch hard rock band, it doesn't hurt to start with elements of some of the greatest bands of current day radio; so with a vocalist who's as strikingly powerful as Maynard James Keenan of Tool and A Perfect Circle, and with an aggressive musical drive closer to Staind, Waking kicks these elements into high gear and has unleashed an album of stop-what-you're-doing-who-the-heck-is-that?! caliber. If you're the slightest fan of modern hard rock, this is the next band you need to check out- you owe it to your sense of taste! - CDBaby.com

This band IS just as described in the other reviews. Take Maynard Keenan of Tool and place him as the lead singer of Staind, and you have a good approximation of Waking. Read more

Pretty good cd, could use a few more songs, though. Very good overall, and i like the live song at end of cd. I recommend.
