5.0 out of 5 stars Good Guys or Bad Guys?, August 2, 2007
Suppose you are hard-working, honest and helpful but remain so poor in spite of your efforts that your clothing is always in tatters. Then, for some unknown reason you have a long streak of good luck--almost as if the Spirit of Good Luck is with you all the time. Then, for another unknown reason, in the matter of a second, all your luck disappears. That is what this tale is about. And MAZEL AND SCHLIMAZEL are behind this good and bad luck of Tam, the poorest lad in the whole village.

[Picture-book type suitable for the intermediate grades.]
