This mazin hamster is so cute and fun online.
TO PLAY ONLINE YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE WEBKINZ ACCOUNT (this IS NOT a webkinz, simply an add on, it won't extend your account for another year but it can be played with in your room like a normal pet) Please note you need to download a 3d software play which if you don't have it there will be a link from mazin hamsters to a site with the necessary software.
Each mazin hamster comes with a feature code that you can type in at the code shop where you will be then prompted to choose the gender and name your hamster. After that you can got to mazin hamsters and build mazes for other hamster owners to play in, run through "Programmer Built" mazes against the clock or find flags and dig up treasure in challenge mazes. If you complete the whole set you will get a trophy! You can shop at the mazin mall and buy tube designs to decorate your mazes, furniture for your webkinz pet(s), new hamster balls to run through mazes in, and new tubes and rooms to put in the mazes you are building. Out side of the mazes your hamster is like a regular pet. I hope this helps you decide if you want to get a mazin hamster!

My daughter wanted this hamster so she could access the mazes online. She loves the hamster and really enjoys playing the games online.

Webkinz are great toys in general. The website is appropriate and fun for the kids and the stuffed animals are favorites at our house. The slight disappointment here is that the hamsters are considered "feature code" items and not webkinz pets. They cost as much, and need care in webkinz world, just like other pets. My daughter was very disappointed at Christmas when she thought this pet would renew her webkinz account and found out it wouldn't. She ended up buying another pet with her own money to make sure she didn't lose the account. If you are looking to extend an account by purchasing a pet, this is not the way to go.

My purple lover 6 year old thinks alot of this hamster. It does what it needs to: Play on Webkinz World and look cute and cuddly!

I purchased this for my grandchild for her birthday, she couldn't wait to get on the computer to play with her webkinz

Yep. well, the title pretty much says it all. It wasn't worth returning, but it just wasn't as nice as it looks in the picture. It was a gift for a friend and she liked it. So it is good enough if you haven't seen the picture on Amazon.

I purchased two of these Hampsters for my grandchildren for this Christmas, They have been a real disappointment so far. Webkins site asks that you register yourself and you need a number to do that. There is no number to do that with on the hampster, but as you enter the number on the hampster tag it is the wrong number. They ask for a secret code they say are on the tags but on the tags are a different code which is a much longer number. Without the secret code the Hampsters are useless and just become cute stuffed Hampsters. The Webkins website does not have a email address for customer service either. You have to write them with any questions. Apparently they want you to purchase there products but never want to hear from you after you do. Very bad business practice in this age of computer only customer help.

I say save you money and buy something with less hassel to it.
