Heather Kirk, a Canadian author, has written professionally for over 40 years, producing newspaper and magazine articles, scholarly articles, radio scripts, poetry, and fiction. She also taught for 30 years in universities and colleges. She has published two linked novels for young adults: "Warsaw Spring" and "A Drop of Rain." She has also published a condensed version of the classic 19th-century novel, "Wacousta," by John Richardson. Her nonfiction books include "Mazo de la Roche: Rich and Famous Writer" and "Be Not Afraid: The Polish Revolution, Solidarity."
