Works great with Aol online McAfee virus products. I'm glad I didn't pay attention to the negative reviews. Window Washer by Webroot is another good one. McAfee Quickclean has a restore feature in case you make a mistake. Step by step to carefully make sure that you don't remove needed items. I have had no problems with any product from Amazon. I have quit paying the high price at the McAfee site. I don't think with all the new virus, and worms etc., that anything other than online protection is worth it. Buying in box virus products become outdated quickly. So I buy online virus protection now, which saves on downloads, and catch the new virus attacks.

QuickClean 3.0 found the items that needed to be deleted, QuickClean 4.0 does the same, but instead of deleting them, it crashes my system. I'm using Windows XP Professional on a new AMD Athlon 64 3200+ and every time I run QuickClean 4.0, my system crashes. So, I tried it on a Windows 2000 Professional and Windows 98 SE system (Win2K=P4@3.02GHz & Win98=Athlon2800+) and those systems crashed as well. Don't waste you money buying this program ... read how clean the system yourself, it's much safer!
