Whole Wheat Flour, Oats, Sugar, Whey Powder, Baking Powder (Sodium Bicarbonate, Mono Calcium Phosphate), Wheatgerm, Salt.
Directions
You will need: 4-1/2 x 8-1/2 loaf pan (well greased) and 1-1/2 cups/12 fl oz cold water. 1. Ensure oven is fully preheated to 400 degrees F. Grease loaf pan. 2. Empty contents of package into a mixing bowl and add cold water. Mix thoroughly with a spoon. 3. Spoon dough into loaf pan and spread evenly. Make a cut 3/4 deep lengthwise along center. 4. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown. 5. Turn out onto a wire rack and allow to cool completely before slicing. Store in a cool, dry place. For best results, Traditional Irish Brown Bread should be baked in a conventional oven. It can also be made in a bread machine as follows: 1. Pour 1 cup of cold water into pan in machine. 2. Add full contents of package, then add 2 teaspoons of active dry yeast. 3. Set machine to rapid cyle. Ensure minimum mixing time of 25 minutes. Do not use delay timer.
