After eight years in the NFL, Ed McCaffrey is considered to be one of the most consistent wide receivers and one of the best route-runners in the league. He is one of 30 players in NFL history to win a Super Bowl with two different teams (San Francisco and Denver), and one of only 13 players to win the championship in the AFC and the NFC. In 1997, he ranked fourth on the Broncos in receptions, and his 1,053 receiving yards in 1998 boosted his career total to 3,895.

About the Author
Tony DeMarco is a free-lance sportswriter who has been writing about Major League Baseball for 13 years. He has worked for the Denver Post (1994-99), Ft. Worth Star-Telegram (1987-93) and Miami Herald (1981-87). He is the author of two books on Larry Walker, including Larry Walker: Canadian Rocky, part of Sports Publishing's Superstar Series, as well as books on Vinny Castilla and Ivan Rodriguez. A native of Harper Woods, Michigan, DeMarco graduated in 1979 from Wayne State University in Detroit. He has one daughter, Alexandra (11), and currently resides in Englewood, Colorado.
