This review is from: McCormick 3-Step Cooking with Flavor (Hardcover)
I haven't made any of the recipes in this cook book yet but I've went
page by page through it writing down the recipes that appeal to me. And it was probably about 75% of the recipes that do. Most of the recipes seem to be of average difficulty with not too many "strange" ingredients. The book covers a variety of cooking methods....grilling, baking, broiling, roasting, and sauteing are the main ones. It also covers a variety of cuisines. Some of the main ones covered are Mexican, Italian, American, and a few Chinese recipes as well. It has a section on chicken, turkey, beef, pork, fish & shellfish, vegetarian, eggs, desserts, and make-ahead meals. The only section I wasn't impressed with was the desserts. A few of the dessert recipes call for black pepper, which is really my taste. But maybe others would like that. Every recipe has a picture which I greatly appreciate. |
