5.0 out of 5 stars Protection for Your Paint, October 30, 2009

I don't know what it is about motorcycle tanks, but from my Suzuki GZ250 to my Harley-Davidson XL1200C, topping off the tank can be a hassle, the pump spout never seals to the tank and clicks like an old 45 LP at the end of the track. It's probably just my choice of rides, but I'm not about to go out and drop another couple thousand bucks just to have an improved refueling experience!

The McCuff is a simple idea that I first saw when Paul, Jr., and Mikey built a custom chopper for the McCuff folks. It's essentially an extender that you can place on the top of your tank that allows the gas pump's vapor-locked spout to easily seal up and gassing up is as easy on your Dyna-Glide as it is on your Yugo.

I love it. Fueling is faster, less frustrating and I don't worry about spilled gas eating up my paint job. With the included Velcro-equipped storage bag, it stores easily and out of the way. I've had other riders borrow mine, just to gas up and hit the road!

5.0 out of 5 stars Works as Advertised!, August 21, 2010

Great product, bought it so I could pump gas at stations that have the boot on the nozzels. No more clicking numerous times to fill the tank, also fills tank faster. Fills tank to the top on first click, I love it!

2.0 out of 5 stars Better in theory than actual use., March 11, 2010

I was not that impressed with the McCuff.

It's better in theory than reality. I found that it did not always fill the tank on the first click and I still had to do multiple clicks, regardless of the nozzle type. You also have to stand over the top of the filler ensuring you press down hard enough on the nozzle and McCuff to get a good seal with the tank opening. Then, you have to carry the thing with you. Even with the bag that comes with it, the bag itself gets dirty and smelly on the inside unless you take extra time to wipe the thing down with paper towels thoroughly after use.

Overall, nice idea but just doesn't cut it for me.
