McDavid Jumpers Knee Strap

I have patellar tendinitis on my knees from playing basketball and other sports which put a lot of stress on the knees. This strap actually help reduce the pain so that it is barely noticeable while you play (depending on the intensity of your workout or sport). The doctor informed me that my case of patellar tendinitis was close to severe. Often I can visually see the swelling after a couple hours of basketball. What this strap does is puts pressure against the tendon that swells, keeping it tight in against your knee cap and bones. Surprisingly by doing this, the pain is very manageable and sometimes not even noticeable with lighter impact workouts or sports. It somewhat "masks" or temporarily hides the pain and allows you to workout and play sports without having the pain bother you. My patellar tendinitis still bothers me to this day but this strap allows me to do what I enjoy doing without letting the tendinitis hold me back. I've been using these straps for over 9 years and have gone through countless straps and replace them as they wear out when the Velcro no longer does its job. They work really well for me and I hope they will do the same for you. I have a couple of other straps of different brands and they all seem to work the same. This one is just the first brand I bought and have the most of. Remember to ice your knees after a heavy or high impact workout!

I had this strap for years, then lost it. I went to get a replacement, but the store I went to didn't carry the McDavid, so I bought a Bike strap and a Cramer knee brace. Neither of them worked as well as the McDavid. I was glad to find this on Amazon. The strap is simple, just velcro, but it's made of flexible material. I've never had a problem with it slipping off. It really reduces my knee pain (I've had 3 right knee surgeries, including ACL replacement, and have very little cartilage left in there). Highly recommended.

My knee was really bothering me while running. It has been swollen and I have been needing to ice it everyday. This took away all of my pain while I was running. Love this little miracle worker!
