5.0 out of 5 stars Very helpful relief
Bought this for help with a torn hamstring. I decided to pay a little extra for the velcro adjustable version so I could control the pressure exactly as I wanted. I'm very glad I did. This thigh sleeve is very easy to put on and adjust the pressure from slight to very tight. Also, since it's adjustable you can wear it over an underlayer or an ace bandage...

3.0 out of 5 stars Thigh Wrap
This thigh wrap is just OK. In order to keep it in place tape is needed. For price plus shipping, a similar wrap could be bought at your local pharmacy.

Bought this for help with a torn hamstring. I decided to pay a little extra for the velcro adjustable version so I could control the pressure exactly as I wanted. I'm very glad I did. This thigh sleeve is very easy to put on and adjust the pressure from slight to very tight. Also, since it's adjustable you can wear it over an underlayer or an ace bandage.

One thing surprised me a bit, as I did not think I was prone to "dermatitis," but I did start to get very itchy after a couple hours of wearing it. Putting a paper towel between it and my skin fixed that without impacting performance.

As with any sleeve I think, it may work it's way downward gradually as you wear it. But it's easy to slide back up or unstrap and refasten. I think this is another time where the velcro comes in quite handy.

NOTE: The product differed slightly from the picture. Instead of a single thin band of velcro on the edge, it has three large square shaped velcro tabs that allow for fastening. This actually seems much easier to fasten and adjust than what is pictured, so a good improvement I would say.

4.0 out of 5 stars Extremely effective., August 15, 2010

This neoprene wrap works very well. It compresses and retains heat allowing the muscle to heal. The only issue I had was that while playing soccer and wearing the wrap, it has a tendency to slip lower over time. This can be remedied by slightly wetting the inside of the wrap before wearing. I suppose it is a consequence of the funnel shape of the piece. Overall, an excellent therapeutic wrap. I gave it 4 stars for the slipping, otherwise I would have rated it a 5.

5.0 out of 5 stars Health, Support, September 25, 2010

It works fine on a pulled Hamstring. Only problem is that it makes your leg sweat under the support. Not that big of a problem, you learn to take it off for a few minutes than re-attach it to the thigh. I would reccomed it to any one with a thigh problem.

It arrived about a day before they said I would receive it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great help & support, June 21, 2011

I originally bought the thigh support, but they're sized smaller. I got the wrap as a replacement & it turned out to be the better choice. I bought this after injuring my left quad playing soccer. I normally wear neoprene shorts while playing but it doesn't provide any support, the wrap did. I felt a twinge after the 1st big sprint in my game & was able to adjust the wrap to provide more support. The wrap didn't slip even with all the running, heat & sweat.

5.0 out of 5 stars Helped with my strained quad, July 7, 2011

This thigh wrap provided the compression that I needed to recover from a pulled / strained muscle in my thigh. My strain was higher up on my thigh and I did not experience any issues with the wrap falling down. The wrap retains heat which was very helpful for my injury. The wrap really made a big difference in my healing. I am happy with this purchase.
