I am giving it 3 stars only because of the sizing. It seems well-made.
Before ordering I went to the McDavid site and it said my measurement of 10.5" around the elbow would be a medium.
Not close. Couldn't even get it on, and while I am a guy, I don't have particularly large forearms.
Check the sizing below and then add a size. This may not apply if you are slender-boned (my forearm is about 11.25" around)
The range of elastic could be more substantial. If you don't get the exact right size you are out of luck.

McDAvid's chart (my advice, unless you have slender forearms, is ADD ONE SIZE!):
Measurement around elbow:
Small: 8-9.5" Med: 9.5-11" Large: 11-12" XL: 12-14"

Good product. Provides protection so my elbow doesn't get banged up, grappling. However, sizing is poor. The sizing on the package says to measure around mid elbow.

S = 9 - 10"
M = 10 - 11"
L = 11 - 12"
XL = 12 - 13"

My elbow measures slightly under 9" (and my forearm is no larger) so I ordered a S.

I could not get the size S past my forearm. My small-to-normal-sized 11-year-old daughter could barely get it on.

I then ordered a size M. That is wearable but a bit too large and slides down a bit.
