Very good light shirt. It tends to ride up during activities, but still nice shirt.

I recently purchased this item for my 17 yr. old son. He is currenly playing High School Football. I was looking for an item to give him some added protection. The shirt was a steal at the price offered. I was very pleased with the quality of the item when it was received. My son loved it as did all his teammates. The shirt was made very well and is true to size. My son has used it for every game and some practices. It offers lots of added protection yet is light weight and breathable. It does not constrict movement. It is machine washable and dryable. This item has held up so well it could be used another season if needed. I would definately recommend this product.

I bought this for Mt. Biking but think that this particular one, sleeveless with shoulder pads, would be better for contact team sports.

The material is very lite and the fit is pretty good, with lots of length to tuck into your athletic shorts/ pants. Don't sleep on washing this thing after a workout....it seems to keep in the stink for a few washes if you do forget.

The pads probably wouldn't save you from a major impact but it takes the edge off of glancing blows (my buddy's are always punching me when I'm wearing it) or if you have someone with their forearm in your back.

If I had to do it over again I'd probably get a different version, one with armor in the sleeves.
