Bought this for help with a torn hamstring. I decided to pay a little extra for the velcro adjustable version so I could control the pressure exactly as I wanted. I'm very glad I did. This thigh sleeve is very easy to put on and adjust the pressure from slight to very tight. Also, since it's adjustable you can wear it over an underlayer or an ace bandage.

One thing surprised me a bit, as I did not think I was prone to "dermatitis," but I did start to get very itchy after a couple hours of wearing it. Putting a paper towel between it and my skin fixed that without impacting performance.

As with any sleeve I think, it may work it's way downward gradually as you wear it. But it's easy to slide back up or unstrap and refasten. I think this is another time where the velcro comes in quite handy.

NOTE: The product differed slightly from the picture. Instead of a single thin band of velcro on the edge, it has three large square shaped velcro tabs that allow for fastening. This actually seems much easier to fasten and adjust than what is pictured, so a good improvement I would say.

It works fine on a pulled Hamstring. Only problem is that it makes your leg sweat under the support. Not that big of a problem, you learn to take it off for a few minutes than re-attach it to the thigh. I would reccomed it to any one with a thigh problem.

It arrived about a day before they said I would receive it.

I'll start this out by saying I have awful muscles, no they don't look bad and they work at times when I need them but I tend to pull them often (which is a whole other topic). This happened recently with my quad during a soccer game which set me in need of some support for it. About two weeks after the strain I got this thigh wrap and it gave my leg the stability I needed to comfortably continue to play. The velcro makes the wrap as tight as you need it which is key.

    Pros:

    - Adjustable, lets you get it as tight as you can
    - Easy to put on and use
    - Doesn't smell bad after use (you'll understand, with it wrapped tight you will sweat more with it)
    - Flat out does the job

    Cons:

    - Does slip which can really be annoying
    - Expect your leg to be sweaty from it, but thats inconsequential you are wearing the wrap to support your leg muscles not to be trendy

    Tips:

    - For guys, wear a pair of boxer briefs, put this wrap on tight, then get compression shorts and put them over top of the brace. Might be more of a cost but the compression shorts will keep the wrap in place without it slipping at all and give you the extra support you need from the wrap.

I would get it again, and at the moment only have one but have thought about getting another (again, bad muscles and the whole better to be safe than sorry.)

This neoprene wrap works very well. It compresses and retains heat allowing the muscle to heal. The only issue I had was that while playing soccer and wearing the wrap, it has a tendency to slip lower over time. This can be remedied by slightly wetting the inside of the wrap before wearing. I suppose it is a consequence of the funnel shape of the piece. Overall, an excellent therapeutic wrap. I gave it 4 stars for the slipping, otherwise I would have rated it a 5.

Nice brace for the money. I purchased the Pro-Tec hamstring wrap at the same time and usually choose that one over the McDavid. The McDavid is a bit tougher to adjust securely and doesn't give my hamstring as much support. If you don't plan on doing anything too strenuous this brace would be alright but the Pro-Tec is superior.

I've gone through many of these; they provide decent support for Hamstring strains and upper quad issues. Velcro wears out relatively quickly (depending on the amount of use); I use mine prolifically for chronic hamstring issues and to prevent further injury. Can be worn under compression shorts as well. Nice, for the price, for off the shelf moderate support bracing. I have also used a variety of other McDavid products with equal success. (I am a senior athlete and a physical therapist.)

I'll give an honest review. Im a bodybuilder and I play softball and flag football. Being that active in a game, it does slide down my leg, constantly. It is ideal for somebody who needs to compress the thigh but not during games. It does give support inactive.

AS Other users mentioned, Fits good on the tigh. I ahve use couple of other thigh wraps but they never to stick on thigh as this does even when Iam running and sweaty.
