1989 FOREVER YOUNG SERIES Japan import release with purple title lettering housed in standard jewel case, complete with obi strip and Japanese lyric sheet. This album originally came out in 1970 and represented the first off-shoot group from the original King Crimson line-up. Also features organ work and a piano solo by Steve Winwood. Features the original lyrics to all songs (note: the 2002 Ian McDonald-remixed/remastered HDCD version, while sonically excellent, includes a modified version of "Turnham Green" with sanitized alternate lyrics). Track listing: 1. SUITE IN C, including TURNHAM GREEN and HERE I AM; 2. FLIGHT OF THE IBIS; 3. IS SHE WAITING?; 4. TOMORROW'S PEOPLE -- THE CHILDREN OF TODAY; and 5. BIRDMAN, including THE INVENTOR'S DREAM (OUAT), THE WORKSHOP, WISH-BONE ASCENSION, BIRDMAN FLIES!, WINGS IN THE SUNSET and BIRDMAN-THE REFLECTION. The 1989 release in this series was on Warner Bros/Pioneer. Subsequently, this same FOREVER YOUNG release was put out in 1993 on Atlantic/MMG Inc., and in 1996 and 2000 on eastwest. All versions bear the 13-digit UPC 4988014728522.
