If you are a homeschooling parent, or your child is taking Algebra in school and is having trouble picking out the important concepts - this is a fabulous rescource! The Student version of this guide is set-up with spaces for each section of each chapter. The student is led to identify important vocabulary, concepts and properties. Space for examples (many are already started) for the students to complete, clearly connect the example with the concept. This is hard to explain, but I can't recommend it enough!

Where is this useful - if your child is floundering in Algebra because they can't pick out the important information, or they have just never needed to take notes in math before and have no clue how - this book clearly lays out a wonderful format to help the student identify key concepts. This lesson will be valuable for the remainder of his/her time in school.

So - what is the teacher's version - same thing as the student version, except it is completed. Key concepts, vocabulary defintions, and examples are complete. For a homeschool parent - you can easily see where your child still needs help. If your child is taking Algebra in school, but is struggling, this would still be a useful tool.

My recommendation would be to get both guides - the student and the teacher - and have your child use the student guide as he/she goes through their algebra book. You can periodically do spot-checks to see that they are actually "getting" the key concepts and vocabulary.

Quite frankly, I wish they had these for every subject as I think kids today are really having a tough time taking notes.

This note taking book enables you to study with ease. It provides great notes and has easy note taking ability. It practically has the notes already done! You will never have to rush to grab a sheet of paper again So for people who want to succeed I recommend this book for you!! Taking notes will never be easier.
