4.0 out of 5 stars Another nice looking dragon with a few display issues
I have had this dragon on display for about a month now.

Another really great looking Dragon figure, if a bit smaller than others in the series.

This is the only figure in the series so far (and McFarlane toy, for that matter) that has suffered from display "leaning" so far.

1.0 out of 5 stars Looks cool, but...
This figure looked really cool, which is why I bought it. Now, when I open the box, one of the wings was not attached. When I tried to put the wing on, the dragon's arm broke clean off. I never did get the wing on. Now, seeing as I really like the look of it, I am going to buy another one, and if that one breaks as well, screw it.

I have had this dragon on display for about a month now.

Another really great looking Dragon figure, if a bit smaller than others in the series.

This is the only figure in the series so far (and McFarlane toy, for that matter) that has suffered from display "leaning" so far.

The base is, again, very small and the figure requires a very flat and stable surface to stand in the first place.

After about a month of display the figure's leg has started to bend to one side a little, giving the figure a distinct lean.

This happens all the time with other figures, but this is a first for Dragons and McFarlane.

I hope the next series employs better bases, to make the figures more stable!

4.0 out of 5 stars Another beautiful piece by McFarlane, February 25, 2006

The second Sorcerers' Clan Dragon is, in my oh so humble opinion, the most beautiful in Todd McFarlane's Dragon series to date. The colors, the posture, and the overall look to this figure is quite breathtaking once one really gazes at it.

Upon reading the story (as found with the second series' Eternal Clan Dragon), you find out that this is a scene where a draconian 'shaman' is performing a ritualistic dance to 'call forth' the Dragon Prince. I must say that it's a marvelous interpretation.

As far as the durability of the figure, it does seem to be pretty sturdy once upon its platform. However, as mentioned in a previous review, I do have a complaint towards its tendency to "lean". I wished the designers put just a bit more thought behind its balance issues. Although, it doesn't bother me much, and I can easily incorporate its tilt into the fluidity of his dancing spell. See what wonders we can do when we improvise?

All in all, while this isn't a 'toy', per se, and can't be played with without risk of breaking something, it is some definate eyecandy for one's shelf or mantle. A four out of five for this sorcerer's magic.
