On June 28th 2004 I got this figure in the mail. This figure is great, but it not for playing, it's mostly a possing figure. You have to be very careful with the belt and left arm. For my figure had the opening part to the self destrust devise break off. But I was able to put it on again. So now I can never open it again, but that's ok with since don't really have any posses in mind to have the self destrut devise open. My answer is to the buyer be very careful with the acessores for they're not very durable(the skull and spine are quite durable so you can use them often). The rope with the skull can't fit around his torso so I make it a belt. It did break, but I put it around the Predator's waste and tied it to a knot with a spine on the belt, and now it works just fine. Other wise from all this figure is great and can stand up very well. It's now very educational but why should it be, for if it makes you happy why should have something to learn. Plus these figures are released in the summer during my summer vacation when there is no school. This figure is great for a AVP fan, or Predator Fan. If you want contact me I play Counterstrike and my name is AVP and I'm mostly in OB's Poolhouse

After McFarlane's excellent Alien and Predator series in 2003, we knew that McFarlane could reproduce our favorite monsters quite faithfully! One year later, McFarlane releases 3 of the most popular figures and 1 new addition to the roster. This Predator figure is probably my favorite one in the line-up.If you missed the opportunity to own the Alien vs. Predator deluxe boxed set last year, or you are looking for the Predator figure to have a mask, then this figure is for you! More or less the same figure as the one included in the box set, this figure comes with several noticeable differences. For starters, there is now a mask permanently affixed to the face, giving the predator that sinister look from the film. His left arm is also reddened with blood, and he comes with a bloody skull and spine trophy accessory that he can hold in his hand. Unfortunately the trophy belt does not fit around the Predator's torso, as it is supposed to, so it must be slung over the shoulder. Otherwise this figure has alot of posability, and is surprisingly durable...something McFarlane figures usually are not. This is a welcome piece to any collection and is the absolutely best Predator figure ever released.

None of the other models, past or present, come close to this one for capturing the look & feel of our favorite original movie Predator. THIS IS THE ONE THAT GOT ALL THE DETAILS 'RIGHT.' It is not a toy; it's a figurine to be studied and enjoyed. The mask is perfect. The necklace fits nicely. I left the handheld trophy in the box, because the open hands look more dramatic, seeming to invite attack. Pose this guy standing alone or facing one of your favorite heroes and imagine better sequels that might have been!
