This is a 3d poster that is awesome it requires 2 AA batteries and the egg lights up! I dont know how if the light fails ever to change it but it looks great!

This review is from: McFarlane Toys 3D Movie Poster - Alien (Toy)
The 3D poster series is a must have McFarlane fans...especially if you are looking for something other than the action figures. This Alien poster is unique and a great conversation piece. However, it does have a couple of downfalls. Although very cool and tempting to leave on for a while, the light bulb burns out VERY quickly...I probably had it off and on for a total of a couple of hours. McFarlane Toys customer service verified with me that it is a problem. To replace the bulb, the egg must be pulled off from the poster. In my case, I had to pull it and work at it with so much force that I thought I might break it. My advice: Unless you want to change the bulb constantly and run the risk of breaking the product, only turn on the light for a very short amount of time (i.e. just to show people the cool effect). Otherwise a great product by McFarlane!

This review is from: McFarlane Toys 3D Movie Poster - Alien (Toy)
I have been a long-time fan of the McFarlane toys in general. When they started down the line of the Music album covers and Movie posters, I deemed them to be the optimal outlet for this type of memorabilia. Considering some of the more popular movies out there, I expected nothing less than an Alien poster figure. They went the extra step with inserting a light to give emphasis to the poster's inherent glow. The dimensions are just right and the figure is good to have on the wall or on the shelf. I'm looking forward to the new posters that McFarlane considers.
