McFarlane Toys 6" Hanna Barbera Series 2, The 3D Yogi Bear replica brings more of the popular Hanna Barbera Characters to life capturing a favorite Expressive Animated Action so typical of Saturday Morning Classics. Ranger Smith chasing after Yogi and Boo Boo, all three Characters are mounted on springs for movement, Yogi Bear is 5 inches tall, Ranger Smith 3.75 inches and Boo Boo 3 inches tall, also includes a Picnic Basket and an 8 inch custom base. All three figures are nicely detailed and painted, another beautiful sculpture for displaying and part of this Great Collection. Thank You

I bought this for my 5 year old niece and she loves it. It is really cute and seems well made. I have had some bad experiences through amazon unfortunatedly, but I was pleased with this company.

I used this as a cake topper and it was a big hit. The only thing was Yogi Bear wouldn't fit perfectly on the spring, and he is heavy, so it tilted forward more than it should. I got it to stay, but it took some work.

5.0 out of 5 stars A few issues, but a fantastic item nonetheless!, May 17, 2008

I sincerely hope I can get the rest of these fine McFarlane Hanna Barbera sets. I recently found most of series 2 at a discount chain store (at a quarter of the normal price), and I am so happy with them. In my effort to "mature" my collection, weeding out kids' meal toys and going for display items that reflect a more "adult" cartoon lover, I'm happy to say that as long as I have this one, I'll never need to buy another Yogi Bear item again (aside from DVDs and something of Cindy Bear).

More of a display sculpture than a toy, this fine set includes Yogi with pic-a-nic basket, little Boo Boo, and an angry Mr. Ranger in hot pursuit, each with a single peg in the bottom of one foot to insert into springs on the sculpted grass field base. The sculpture, as I'll call it, looks exactly as it does in the promo photos, except that Yogi's weight causes him to stand not quite so high and away from Boo Boo. Though the spring still holds him up, he leans a bit forward, touching up against Boo Boo's ear a bit. Visually, it's not a problem. It still looks natural and fantastic. Yogi still looks like he's in flight, as do Boo Boo and Mr. Ranger, the position is just a tad less dynamic than the promo photos. The springs allow for some comedic movement if you give the base a shake, but that is where Yogi rubbing against Boo Boo could be a concern of paint damage over time. A minor concern if you don't intend to do it that often. The only real complaint I had with this set is that I had to file the pegs on the feet a bit (and repaint them after) to get them to fit into the springs. They were a bit too large. As long as they don't break off though (and I don't think they will, I didn't file them THAT much), it's no problem. So, don't take all these little nit-picky details too seriously. I'm trying to be thorough, but I certainly still encourage any Yogi fan to purchase this fine piece. I just wish this line wasn't over with, but research showed me that Series 2 came out a couple years ago (doesn't seem like it's been that long, but I'm going by McFarlane's website), leading me to think there won't be any more of these awesome Hanna Barbera sets. Too bad if that's the case. I'd love a Huckleberry Hound, Scooby-Doo, Hokey Wolf, Snagglepuss and a few others. For now though, I still have some catching up to do on these (luckily, I only liked a couple from series 1).
