Still this figure is simply amazing.

His arms and head are perfectly poseable, with cuts and joints where you would want them, and he even has a upper chest swivel.

It was a bit pricy for me but I had to have it in my collection.

I have been into Halo for a long time. I have the original figure and when I saw this one at the store I really wanted it but didn't have any money at the time. So for Christmas this year my girlfriend and I made Amazon wish lists and ordered each other things and me being a man-child I put this on. She ordered this for me and I could not be happier with it.
The figure is huge in comparison to the original. I thought the Elite General was big but this is even bigger. It's a fantastic figure and I highly recommend it for any halo fan or any toy lover.
My only issue is the figure came with a plasma grenade but no where to put it, if you put it in the hand you either have to take away the hammer or leave it in one hand because unlike the original there is no back peg to hold weapons.

Still this figure is simply amazing.

This figure is so awesome! As soon as I saw it I knew I wanted it. A Brute Chieftan is a great addition to any Covenant army. It's very durable. I like how you can move the mouth. The gravity hammer was also a nice touch. You'd think that with how big it is it would tip over easily but it is very sturdy and will not fall over unless you hit it. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to expand their Covenant.

I have never played a single Halo game before, but I know a good toy when I see one, and this is a magnificent one. the paint job is exquisite, caked on in some places to show rust and damage, and sleek in other places to show metallic textures. It really is some of the nicest paint work I have ever seen on a figure before and the sculpting job is also unbelievably good; you can pick out every chain link, every speck of rust, and even the texture on the armor straps.

Usually when the sculpt and paint job are this excellent, it can come at a cost of articulation or stability. Not so with the Brute Chieftan! His arms and head are perfectly poseable, with cuts and joints where you would want them, and he even has a upper chest swivel. The only weak point is his hip joint. It's not a problem with the leg itself; the armor near his hip has a tendency to bump hinder the movement a little bit. He makes up for it by having a cut joint at his knee though, and really, the slightly hindered hip is the ONLY weak point on this guy. Heck, he even has a ball jointed foot!

His accessories include a war hammer/axe, a tiny plasma bomb, and his Chieftan helmet. All three are excellent accessories, and are sculpted and painted as amazingly well as the figure itself. The only minor point is that the hammer doesn't fit very solidly into his hand. It kind of flops around unless you hold it in both his hands.

Overall, the fact that this is only 12 dollars seems like a real steal. I would have paid much more for this, but since I got it for so cheap I can easily recommend this figure to anyone who is looking for something fun to play with or display on your shelf. Buy him now!
