I got this punch loving the idea that I could fold the punched paper into a petal envelope. Unfortunately, that's just what it doesn't do! The half circles are too big to alternate the flaps over each other. The flaps bump into each other so the envelope doesn't end up laying flat. I was disapointed that the punch dimentions could be made so wrong when the package says it could be used for a petal envelope. Sure, I could take the time to trim the circles, but then what's the point?

It works as a traditional envelope, but that's just not what I wanted. It does cut cleanly.
