This review is from: McGraw-Hill Dictionary of Physics (Paperback)
As a physicist I thought this book would be handy to have around, but my experience with it suggests that the authors' goal was to use as many trees as possible while providing as little information as possible. After a while I started looking up topics that I was already familiar with, and was amused by the totally opaque definitions I found. A whole lot of not much in this book. zero stars.
