5.0 out of 5 stars Who cares about Typos
The point of the book is to help you get a higher score on the LSAT. Typos may kill anal people. But the typos are insignificant if you understand what they are teaching you. For example putting a / through a variable when you don't need to. But the methods are better than even powerscore.

They teach you diagram every type of game. Powerscore uses too many...

3.0 out of 5 stars good strategies, bad editing
The strategies are the best I have run into, but a bunch of the questions have egregiously wrong answers in the solutions sections.

The techniques, again, seem to be great.

2.0 out of 5 stars Too Many Errors: One and a Half Stars, January 29, 2009
This review is from: McGraw-Hill's Conquering LSAT Logic Games 2ed: MGH Conquering LSAT Logic Games (Paperback)
I wish I had read the Amazon reviews on here before I bought McGraw-Hill's Conquering LSAT Logic Games. At first I noticed some typos and thought: no big deal. Then as I started working through questions I began noticing errors. At first I thought it was just me. But then the errors became too egregious. While some of the logistic explanations are helpful, the errors make you wonder what is helpful and what is hurtful.

1.0 out of 5 stars Do Not Buy, April 17, 2012
This review is from: McGraw-Hill's Conquering LSAT Logic Games 2ed: MGH Conquering LSAT Logic Games (Paperback)
It is unacceptable for a so-called study guide to be full of so many errors. I purchased this book to help me improve my logic games on the LSAT. All it did was make me second guess myself. I spent way too much time revisiting answers that I knew were correct but that the answer key said was wrong. On another note, there were several grammatical errors as well. It is very unfortunate, because the ideas laid out in the book are well thought out, and could have been helpful. Don't waste your money.

1.0 out of 5 stars A black eye for McGraw Hill, January 5, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: McGraw-Hill's Conquering LSAT Logic Games 2ed: MGH Conquering LSAT Logic Games (Paperback)
I can't believe a book so poor can be published.
McGraw Hill should withdraw all copies from print and refund all purchases.

Really reprehensible. Piss-poor editing, rife with mistakes and misprints. You should be ashamed, McGraw-Hill.

1.0 out of 5 stars harvard doesn't teach editing skills, August 16, 2009

The very first logic game explanation is riddled with errors. Spent hours thinking I was doing it wrong, but it turns out the Harvard law students who wrote the book could use a class on editing textbooks. Wish I had read the reviews first. Boots.

1.0 out of 5 stars Having trouble with logic games? Prepare to have more with this book., January 22, 2009

I just bought this book at a bookstore because I've been having quite a bit of trouble studying for the logic games. I quickly found out that this book is useless. It's method of diagraming makes things way more complicated and confusing than they already are. I thought it would help me but it just made me feel worse because I started getting more wrong on practice questions than I had before I bought the thing. Don't waste your money on or time with this book!

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy this book, it's full of errors!, October 29, 2008
This review is from: McGraw-Hill's Conquering LSAT Logic Games 2ed: MGH Conquering LSAT Logic Games (Paperback)
I borrowed this book from my local library and I am glad that I didn't waste money on it. The fact that I'm taking the time to write a review on Amazon tells you how bad it is. It is full of typos, incorrect answers, and poorly worded questions. It is true that the explanations may help you develop strategies to answer questions but do you really want to sort through the mistakes when you are trying to study?

1.0 out of 5 stars Obviously not proof-read by the publishers, September 5, 2008
This review is from: McGraw-Hill's Conquering LSAT Logic Games 2ed: MGH Conquering LSAT Logic Games (Paperback)
"the real errors undermine the credibility of the correct answers. So we second-guess ourselves when we're right in the first place, and we second-guess the book when really do need to be corrected."

- posted by a previous reviewer... couldn't more accurately sum up my feelings about this book if I tried. I am requesting a refund also. Answer "F"? What is that?? Do they even proof-read these things? I thought I was going crazy but am very glad I am not. DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK UNLESS YOU WANT TO DO PROBLEMS WITHOUT EVER KNOWING THE RIGHT ANSWER BECAUSE THEY CERTAINLY DON'T!!
