I've been struggling to become more fluent in Spanish for several years. It wasn't until I had a patient in nursing school who spoke nothing but Spanish that I knew I needed to try harder! I've fallen in love with this product! Although I'm not very far yet (thanks to still being in nursing school) the first chapter has already improved my pronunciation, as well as taught me basic commands that will be extremely helpful when working with Spanish-speaking patients! This book comes with three CDs that you can play in your car or home stereo along with a test book that allows you to prove what you've learned! I highly recommend everyone in the medical field to purchase this product!

Dynamic dialogue that is easy to follow and repeat. It does require some basic knowledge of the language. I listened to the CDs while driving to work. The text reinforces the listening component.

The mix of audio and the work book have been VERY helpful. The basics are intermixed with the specific vocabulary for the medical school. Very happy with the product.

I am a nursing student and have a pretty good grip on the Spanish language, but didn't really know any of the Spanish medical terms. I had trouble finding a great resource that wasn't too basic for me, but this book is perfect! Although it does have the basic terms mixed in with the everything, it also has advanced terminology as well. The CDs do a nice job with vocabulary review and are a great resource for on the go learning. This book is great for beginners or those with a strong base knowledge of Spanish in my opinion! Highly recommend it!

I got the book and then the book with the CD set. I would highly recommend the CD book set. With the CDs you can hear how to say the parts of the body and learn how to pronounce the words. I'm LOVE THIS CD SET.

I have been looking for a medical Spanish program for a while and this is the best one I have found so far. The price is reasonable and it comes with an audio CD to go along with the book. The text has pertinent dialogue for being in the clinic.
I only gave it 4 stars because the CD does not cover every lesson or dialogue in the book and there is also no translation for some of the dialogue, though you can figure it out.
It helps to already have a back ground in Spanish before using this, although i don't think it's really necessary.
As with another reviewer, it took over 2 weeks to receive my copy.

I needed this for summer school so I ordered it a week and a half before summer school started. It just arrived like 2 days ago, summer school started almost 3 weeks ago. So don't order from them and expect it to be in on time unless you choose 2 day delivery. I figured a week and a half is plenty of time to get something delivered, I guess they didn't ship it the next day.
