The Barrington is a useful bag with nice curves, and its interior is very practical and well laid out. The quality of McKlein's workmanship is excellent. I wound up trading this bag for its sibling the Evanston for two reasons. First, although the Barrington is big, by the time I got my laptop and other essentials in it, there was no room left for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows." The Evanston is bigger. HP7 is still a right fit, but not impossible. The other reason (and this is hard to see in the photos) is that the sand-colored version has a very distracting -- in fact, downright weird-looking -- red trim on the edges. Not piping; it's painted on. Also, the lining of the sand-colored bag was bright orange; I mean the color of a traffic cone. Which might be fine for some people, but I couldn't stand it. The sand Evanston has a tan lining; much more subdued.

I was so excited when I ordered this laptop bag. The picture looked like exactly what I was looking for. HOWEVER, when it arrived, it looked completely different than the picture. The aqua colored leather was accurate, but the bag was trimmed out in orange -- yes, orange! and the inside lining was bright orange! I thought it was ugly and sent it back immediately!

This bag was very impressive. The feel of the material, the durability of the handles. Zippers were nice. Perhaps the strap was a little small. BUT, with most of the laptop bag specifications, it only gives a 1 dimension for laptop sizing. Not knowing if it's a diagonal or a width value. It didn't fit for my Dell Latitude E5510. REMEMBER....Laptop diagonal is always bigger than width. Even though the 5510 is 14.2 inches in width, it's screen size is 15.6 inches DIAGONAL. I don't think this is entirely my fault, the manufactures need to clarify these values!

If you're looking for a stylish laptop bag, this will do the job. But, it doesn't have a lot of room for much else. But, I like to write reviews for things they are supposed to be and not what they aren't! (make sense?)
