If you enjoy stories of strong women, you'll love this series!!,

I absolutely love McLeod's Daughters (MD)! MD is the story of five strong women who don't need men to run their lives, not to mention their ranch; and yet, each women experiences their own love story throughout the seasons. The show has drama, romance and comedy. Ever since I saw the first episode, I was hooked! The wonderful part of the series is that each seasons' DVDs are released rather quickly after the end of season. For example, in Australia the sixth season is currently airing, and the fifth season was released on DVD in May (2006). Thus, as long as you can find a region-free DVD player, then anyone can enjoy the Australian show! I bought my Philips DVP 642 from Walmart and it plays the Region 4 DVD's, in addition to my Region 1 DVDs, perfectly!! You just need to tweak the menu options, and then, enjoy!!
