Like a spare tire, you'll be glad it's there when needed.
Everyone should have a map in their vehicle. This particular map has every single road in North America on it. You may not need it now, but believe me, you will need it some day, and you'll be glad, that you have been smart enuogh to keep it in your car. It's the second most important thing to have in your car - after gasoline.

only good for highway travel
When I ordered this atlas I expected the large paperbacked atlas that I have seen in the past. These always gave large pictures of states and cities which allowed one to clearly see roads and highways. This version is so condensed that much of the road information is barely readable. Many of the cities are so tiny that it is hard to read anything but the most major...

When I ordered this atlas I expected the large paperbacked atlas that I have seen in the past. These always gave large pictures of states and cities which allowed one to clearly see roads and highways. This version is so condensed that much of the road information is barely readable. Many of the cities are so tiny that it is hard to read anything but the most major roadways.This atlas has many gimmicks which may be helpful at times like airport maps. However it shortchanges one on the major reason for buying it.
