5.0 out of 5 stars very good maps, nice format
I cannot agree with another reader who criticize this atlas. I have a comparison with many other geography books and atlases I bought for my kid. This is really a very nice and very concise world atlas. I especially liked physical maps of all continents. They are very realistics. The photos from all regions of the world have very good quality and resolution.

2.0 out of 5 stars Basically useless, just a pretty booklet
We had purchased this book for our 11-year-old son, and quickly found it insufficient. So it went to our 9-year-old. We tried to use it for fourth grade homework this week, and it has so little information it's not even funny. It wasn't helpful at all.

We had purchased this book for our 11-year-old son, and quickly found it insufficient. So it went to our 9-year-old. We tried to use it for fourth grade homework this week, and it has so little information it's not even funny. It wasn't helpful at all.

It's a pretty book though. It would be a nice thing for a preschooler through maybe first grade, for an aspiring scholar who craved the excitement of maps and world words, but didn't really need any hard information out of it.

I had another world atlas from a different producer and in spite of bigger format it has less information and its maps are much worse.
So, please do not rely just on this negative review. This book is worth to buy!
I am originally from Europe and I saw many world atlases, this one is really one of the best!
