Had just purchased a $150 pair of Gore-Tex Golf Rain Pants. Caught the bottom edge on something sharp and put a 1" tathered tear in them. Bought this repair kit and all I can say is "WOW". You'd have to look real hard to find the mend. And part of the mend was on a crease. I follow the instructions completely, cutting a small piece for the repair. And I also took their advice to iron it for a stronger mend. Worth every penny!!

An inside leg seam had opened up on my years-old gore tex running pants. I had run out of ways to close the seam and was faced with replacing the pants at well over $100. For a few dollars this kit gave me a perfect, almost invisible, patch (luckily the pants were black).

A little hard to get the repair fabric off the backing, which stretched it out a bit and made spots not stick so well, but otherwise fantastic. I used this to make a permanent repair by sewing it on and sealing the seam, works great!
