5.0 out of 5 stars Miracle shiner
I brought this to clean and shine my Hunter wellington rain boots, and boy does it shine. Just spray a little bit on the boots, wipe with cloth, and it's shiny and clean. It does not require much intense effort. I had tried cleaning my rain boots with soap and water but it doesn't do the job. This spray did it.

3.0 out of 5 stars cleans but taks effort to brand new boots
I bought this to clean my new Hunter Boots. The boots release a waxy film when they are stored so when i bought them i needed to clean off the wax. they are shiny and good looking now but it took a lot of time and effort to get there, I'm sure that the initial cleaning is the toughest and next time it will be easier.

Be careful where you are spraying this. I accidentally got some on the floor when cleaning my boots and it made that floor spot slippery for a while.

It was impossible for me to find this at normal retail shops, so I finally ended up ordering from amazon. Love it.

My Black glossy Hunter boots benefit greatly from this spray- it shines them up and keeps them coated and looking like new.

I would have given this item a 5 star but I am not sure until I have the test of time if it will hold up and do as it says. I gave it a 4 because it was super easy just spray and wipe.I put this on an outdoor resin statue that I hope will last. Living in Florida the sun actually "eats" resin items and I bought this to use on my items. So I will see with time how well it holds up.

Purchased the 16 oz on amazon since it was the best price for the amount anywhere. Got them solely for my Boa styled Hunter boots since I got received them with blotches of gray. Wanted to take great care of my boots and gave this a try after reading reviews. After around 5 minutes of spraying and wiping, they look pretty great. My boots are incredibly shiny and you can hardly see the results of blooming but you can still see some blotches of gray if you look closely. Maybe they'll go away if I spray/wipe some more.

How will I really know for years though? It appeared to restore a little color to my sun-faded ocean kayak, but we'll see how it holds up. For all I know, Armor-All wouldve done the same.

***If you are using it to clean the wax of the boots i recommend putting some thing inside the boot to keep its shape.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for my Hunter rubber boots, October 14, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Review by Marc's wife: I bought this to use to protect my Hunter rubber boots and prevent and/or reverse 'blooming' (the white haze that rubber boots acquire over time). So far it seems great. I just got my boots and I think the best advice is to get this and use it right away before wearing them. It shined up the gloss and took away the slightest bit of haze that the boots had when I received them. I think it's a good product to use on these boots and the price was right.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Product for Outdoor Kit, July 10, 2010

Most outdoor enthusiasts know that Armor-All is cheesy, and only affords minimal protection for items exposed to the elements.
A lot of kayakers use 303 for their drysuit gaskets, spraydecks, and other synthetic gear exposed to UV and constant wet/dry cycles. 303 is OK.
UV-Tech, however, is very different, and works much better. Actually absorbed into the material, and lasts. It really does restore damaged rubber and plastics, and extends life of otherwise "clapped-out" goods.
This is the the best drysuit gasket preserver and lubricant I've found.
Oh, and it's excellent for fixing up the car's appearance, too, though my kayak kit receives more care than my wheels!

I used this on my Hunter rainboots (non-glossy) and it got rid of all the white "residue". They look brand new.
