4.0 out of 5 stars The Youth Workers Guide, December 31, 2004

This review is from: Josh Mcdowell's Youth Ministry Handbook Making The Connection (Paperback)
This is one of the best guides for someone who works with the youth, who may not have the ministerial education(seminary degree). This book is a must have for someone who works with the youth . It is full of information ranging from effective and authentic leadership, counseling youth, to establishing a youth group web-site, to going on mission trips. This book is now in my
bookshelf and office along with "The Rock" NLT Youth Bible with insights from Josh McDowell.

3.0 out of 5 stars What Youth Ministry is at all?, June 25, 2001

This review is from: Josh Mcdowell's Youth Ministry Handbook Making The Connection (Paperback)
I thought this book worths for a Youth Ministry conference, in my expanding ideas about youth ministry, it raised up the greater issues to think in a very complete youth ministry. As this is a compendium, some essayers tried to put their own areas in the first thing to worry in a Youth Ministry as other writers simplified very much their ideas as far as they had not enough space to put all he would tell. This is what we usually find in Youth Ministry conferences isn't it? But after reading it I have a clear vision of what to achieve in short, medium and long terms
