This review is from: Mcguinn Clark & Hillman (Audio CD)
The highlight of MCH for me is "Feeling Higher" with fabulous keyboard work by Paul Harris. A great love song for weddings, could easily be adapted, spiritually. Main hit in '79 was "Don't You Write Her Off" Other notable cuts: Little Mama, Surrender To Me, Stopping Traffic, Sad Boy, and Release Me Girl...great singalong stuff, both upbeat & ballad. Chris Hillman went on with the Desert Rose Band to post some country chart hits a few years later.McGuinn well known for his work as a Byrd...Gene Clark, deceased...a great songwriter, evidenced by what's here.
