I recently discovered Joyce Meyer and now I can't get enough of her! I definitely struggle with a "mouth issue" and as soon as I heard about this book I knew it was written for me! The book has a scripture on every page as well as personal reflections and stories from Joyce. It forces you to take a good look (or listen) at yourself. It makes you think about the consequences of things you say as well as the motivation behind what you say. It reinforces what Mom always said plain and simple..."If you don't have anything nice to say don't say it!"

This is one of Joyce Meyer's best books out! She has taken us from having a "wordly" acceptable behavior to being accountable of what we say to and about others and ourself.This is a must for all to read. It is food for thought! I've enjoyed it more than any book I've read in a long while. Worth reading twice!

If you think back on all the friends you have lost and all the times you have been in an arguement then you need to think of who was always at the seen...YOU! I have had a hard time keeping peace in my life. I always have to say what I think...well its wrong!!! This book has changed my life, my marriage, and my way of raising my children. It has humbled me and I LOVE IT> I have been freed for my MOUTH...it was out of control. This book is for you if you don't know how to Just shut up and go with the flow of life. Stop saying everything you think...just glorify God...if you want to do that...buy this book...you will want to share it too. She wrote this book for the lay person...just normal people...its for men and woman.

I purchased this book because a)I love her ministry and b) I have a serious problem with my mouth. The book goes into to detail how the root of all of your problems start with the mouth. You can have a sincere heart but the mouth is what conveys evil and blocks the sincerity of the heart. Joyce uses detail and her own experiences to convey how evil and destructive the mouth can be. After reading the book and working on my mouth I am experienceing peace and joy.

When I saw the title of this book, I knew I had to buy it. It helped me so much and gave me a lot to think about. I love Joyce's writing style. But what I appreciate most about Joyce Meyer is her grasp of Scripture, her transparency about her own struggles and her forthrightness. You can always count on Joyce to tell it like it is. This book humbled and convicted me over and over again. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is struggling with learning to control the tongue.

I AM SO GRATEFUL TO GOD OUR FATHER FOR TOUCHING JOYCE MEYERS HEART TO RELEASE SUCH A POWERFUL BOOK INTO MY LIFE, IT HAS BEEN AN EXTREME HELP IN MY WALK TO THE FATHER AND I ENCOURAGE ANYONE WHO WANTS TO LINE THEIR MOUTH UP WITH THE WORDS OF GOD THEN THIS IS A FOR SURE #1 BOOK TO READ. MAY GOD BLESS YOUTO READ AND PRACTICE THIS BOOK ,ESPECIALLY TO GET US TO OBEY THE BIBLE, THERE IS LIFE IN THE WORD....

This is a life changing book. It is not possible to read this book and be the same afterwards. It is taking me so long to finish the book because it is so deep and Joyce Meyers definitely has an divine annointing on her ministry. It was as if she was speaking to me directly and that it was wriiten for me. I truly believe that everything happens in God's timing and with a purpose and me reading this book at this point in my life could not have happened at a more perfect time. If I would've read it any sooner I would not have been mature enough to accept and absorb the messages and scriptures. If I read it in a few more years it may have been too late. I find myself studying this book as if it were a text book and it is to me. It's depth is almost overwhelming sometimes. THANK YOU JESUS FOR SAVING JOYCE'S MOUTH SO SHE COULD AID IN SAVING MINE!

I feel this book is a "must read" for anyone who is struggling in their Christian walk with a "mouth issue". What I really liked about this book is that it's not Mrs. Meyer's personal opinion, but there is scripture on each page that provides the foundation and truth of what she is trying to get across to us. We all have had problems, at one time or another, with complaining, criticizing, etc., in fact, sometimes without even realizing we are doing it. You better have a pencil or highlighter handy as you read this book because you will definitely want to mark passages and commit them to memory. This book has really opened my eyes and I will encourage everyone that I care about to read it!

This was a great book and really helps you to understand the power of words. this will make you think before you speak!

This is one of those books , as you read it, you can think of a zillon people that could use the wonderful insights in this book. It is one of the most life changing books I every read. Joyce Meyers has been truly annointed by God and she is an excellent teacher of the Word. This book is worth reading and passing on, on and on. Only read this book if you are ready to be changed from the inside out! Great reading!!
