I might be a little biased, being that the artist is my father, but I truely believe that this is an awesome album. It's not like the current day, commercialized gospel scene. Just a man and his guitar. If you want a true gospel experience, you need to get this album.

Most of you have not heard of James Nixon. I, Mark Weber, reviewed his CD for Behind The Scenes magazine a few years ago, and to this day it is one of my favorite CDs of all time, for its simplicity and heartfelt soul. The man and his guitar is best listened to when you are getting ready to go to sleep, or better yet, when you feel ill, or that things are not well in your spirit or all is not well in the world-- this CD calms me, soothes me, refreshes me. It's a simple album-- no gimmicks-- but it's also a special album that will bless you with its simplicity. I am in awe of this album and Mr. Nixon. He is not famous in the world's eyes, but I think God is keeping on eye on him, noticing how he's using his talent for Him so well.

IF I HAD TO DESCRIBE MR.JAMES NIXON AND HIS MUSIC IN ONE WORD IT WOULD BE AMAZING. I GOT THIS CD WHEN I WAS NEW IN MY CHRISTIAN WALK AND THIS CD REALLY MINISTERD TO ME EVEN THOUGH IT'S OLD SCHOOL SONGS I FELT THAT CONNECTION WITH GOD. NOW IM 21 YRS OLD AND I STILL ENJOY HIS SOOTHING VOICE AND GUATIAR!! I LOVE IT!!! NOPE IM NOT RELATED TO HIM NEITHER.LOL!!!
