Attention: Anyone trying to break into the biz of reality TV, this is your cheat sheet!

I say cheat sheet because Sarah opens the curtain and let's you behind the scenes to the point you feel like you're cheating! If you have ever wondered how to make your application stand out (don't follow instructions, Sarah tells you why), what casting directors are looking for, what makes Y-O-U stand out, and just what goes on in the relationship of a casting director/producer and the applicant, this is your inside look like never seen before.

I was amazed at the complete eye opener this was for me, as a reality show applicant. I happened to have been someone who has gotten far in casting (more than once) for a big time reality show. Had I read Sarah's book, I would have already been cast, that's how good it is.

I can tell you this, after reading this book, I'd love to say I'll be seeing you...but the reality (pun!) is, you WILL be seeing me because my confidence is that boosted! I now have the tools I need to sell my spot and get cast.

Worth the purchase, you won't regret it!

Reading "Me On TV" will greatly increase your chances of getting on a reality show!
I thought I knew all the "tricks" and all of the little things that add up to being picked when I first applied for a major reality tv show.
Having gone pretty far in the casting process, I can tell you that separating yourself and "standing out" is the key!

Sarah explains all of the things that the casting people are looking for in an easy and fun to read book, which significantly increases your chances of "advancing from the crowd".
I will be using many of these techniques in my next application to differentiate myself from all of the other BORING applicants!

Thanks Sarah!

I don't usually like books that have tasks or homework or formulas, but the exercises in this book were really fun, helpful and made sense. I actually wish there were more! If you go to a link that shows up in the book, you can actually get even MORE bonuses. Awesome. And the book is great, too - it totally explains everything you'll ever want to know on how to apply and get on a reality tv show! Crossing fingers to be on TV soon.

Thank goodness I found this book. I now feel like I totally understand how to get on my favorite show. Recommend trying this book to anyone who has ever wanted to get on a reality show. It's one of the most user-friendly guidebooks I've ever read. It's a real quick read, but not because it's short on content. Plus, the printable versions of the homework and other bonuses you get for free make it real solid. Seems like the author wants to help folks make it happen, which seems real rare in Hollywood. One down side, which tempted me to give it a four star instead of a five star rating, is that it didn't go into how shows are made and how to pitch ideas for shows if you have them. I would like to know about how I can makethat happen.

For anyone that's curious on what goes on in a casting director's head - this is the answer to all your questions. Not only is Sarah a seasoned casting director, she's also a great educator and her writing style really explains the whole process from how to find the casting calls, to how you should apply, to how you should behave and what you should (and shouldn't) do during the audition, to how to best impress the casting directors, and how to land the gig! I think this guide will help everyone that are into acting and reality TV. That's right, not only reality TV, but also for actors that are auditioning. Great book!

I have wanted to audition for a reality show forever, but living in Atlanta, had no idea how do it or where to start. I'd sometimes go online and look for open calls, but they seemed so intimidating. Anyway, that all changed when a friend recommended that I get Me On TV. It seriously has an entire chapter dedicated to what someone needs to do to nail an open call. From where to stand in line (not next to Hotties!, haha), to what to say when it's your turn to go. Also, for a how-to type book, it's really funny, too.

I read Me On TV to prep for my unsuccessful Big Brother audition. Even though I flopped (dang it!) during an open casting call, I at least have an idea of what I did wrong. I treated my audition as a job interview instead of showcasing my personality or character. Sarah Monson gives great insights on the casting process, and I am sure my audition would have an embarrassment rather than a valiant first try. She provides different worksheets, kinda like homework assignments, and I wish I had utilized them. Next time I will. Regardless, the guide is a fun read and the whole experience makes me love my favorite show even more.
