I love the author Kristy Dempsey.The words of this touching poem are beautifully illustrated. It will be a classic that families will want to pass on to each new generation. I believe that you are in for a special loving moment each time you read this book to a child.

Grandfather bear sat in his Adirondack chair doing a puzzle in the paper while his little granddaughter watered the tulips in the garden. They loved being near each other, even when they were doing different things. It was a comfortable sort of feeling. She enjoyed setting up a tea party for him so he could share a piece of pie at her fancy table. He loved to push her on the tire swing, yelling all the while, but he was prepared to clean her up in case she landed in a puddle. If his hat blew off his head, she was the first one to run after it. She was a very good cheerleader when he was up at bat. If she was sick in bed he was there to tuck her in and read a story. He'd stay with her through the night just to make certain she would be fine. They were a very special pair.

and you're completely you."

This is a wonderful tale of the special love that a young child, or bear in this case, has for her grandfather. It's a love that cannot compare with any other and the author and the artist have captured this feeling perfectly. The simple rhyming scheme is light and comforting and the little things in life like walking in the rain, watering flowers and a grandfather tending to his granddaughter when she is sick are captured perfectly. The artwork, needless to say, is very detailed and gorgeous. If you are a Grandpa, Gramps, Pop-Pop, Grandpappy, Granddad, Granddaddy, Grandpop, PawPaw, Pop, Boppa, Poppa, Big Paw, Bampa, Grampie, Pap or even a Demps and have a special granddaughter, you're going to need this book!

Such a sweet book with wonderful illustrations. Grandaddy Bear clearly adores Grandaughter Bear -- just as she adores him!(just like in real life!) My husband and four year old grandaughter think this book is great. It would be a great baby shower or grandaddy-to-be gift!

This is a wonderful book. The text could be about any two friends who enjoy time together, understand each other, share jokes, and tea-times, and play together. There is warmth and a quiet, understanding love between these two. The illustrations gear the book into a story between a grandfather and granddaughter.

Christopher Denise has created beautiful paintings of a giant, lumbering Grandpa Bear with kind eyes -- and a lively, fiesty Granddaughter Bear. You just know from these pictures that Granddaughter Bear has Grandpa wrapped around her paw.

This would be the ideal book for a Grandpa to read to his granddaughter...but would also work well for daddies to read to their children. Lovely and sweet.

I bought this book for my son for Father's Day.

This book is not just for grandparents. It can be given to anyone who has a special place in a child's life.

The illustrations are beautiful, the story will touch your heart..a beautiful addition to the family library.

Already, "Me With You" is a favorite for my four girls. We have it in a place that they can easily access it anytime they want to read it. Several friends have come over and seen the book and read it and are instantly taken with it, too. It captures the love we have for that special grandparent we admired so much growing up. It is a great gift for the preschooler, grandparent, parent, or any child. I know that if you pick it up, you will just have to buy it!

The children's book ""Me With You" by Kristy Dempsey is such a beautifully written book that brings back such sweet memories of growing up and having special times with grandparents. It is also a teaching tool for we who are grandparents and need to create those special "Me With You" times with our own grandchildren. The book touches the heart and is a must for all grandparents to read to their grandchildren. The book is so brilliantly illustrated and the bears look so real I actually touched it to see if I could feel the fur on the bears. I love it!!!

Me With You is definitely one of the best children books I've read! I teach 4K and read a lot and this book by far is one of the most touching. The story of a grandfather and a granddaughter will warm your heart! The illustrations are beautiful and draw you into the book! Would be perfect as a gift for new moms and dads, for Father's Day, or for Grandparent's Day. This is a book to buy and keep forever!

An absolutely beautifully written and illustrated book that will become a family favorite. It is the perfect gift book for a new baby from a grandparent or the perfect Grandparent's Day gift to a grandparent. Beautiful memories can be made with the grandparent reading Me With You to a grandchild. Every child should have his/her own to keep.

This book is written about a Grandfather and Granddaughter, however my husband and our daughter just love reading it together! It is such a sweet story and the illustrations are adorable. I picked this book up at a local bookstore when the author was in town doing a book signing and I'm so glad I did. It is definitely one of the best in our library!
