This is a great collection of Lennon/McCartney love ballads set to solo piano. Even if you aren't familiar with the tunes, it's a wonderful listening experience. It's perfect for studying, reading, or relaxing - I highly recommend it!

i have a few Beatles piano cds & this one was immediately likable. a lot of the classic tunes are here. the recording is warm & full. his arrangements stay close to the originals but his variations add enough sparkle to keep the tunes interesting. wish i could play piano like him.
i hope he does a volume 2 & stretch out to the rockier Beatle songs. highly recommended. |
