I purchased the notebook holder which came along with a 1-subject notebook. The notebook is very sturdy and looks very professional. I used this notebook to take notes while interviewing. The notebook holder is also excellent; it allows you to store several business cards, a pen and has a ribbon for you to quickly mark a clean page without you having to thumb through the entire notebook. I truly recommend this notebook for note taking during an interview or for any professional endeavor.

Not many people care about fountain pens anymore. I doubt that the folks at Mead had them in mind when producing this notebook. Regardless, Mead has made a nearly perfect notebook for those, like me, who need something fountain-pen friendly for use at work.

These notebooks are sturdy with a cover flexible enough not to crimp when mishandled yet still protect the pages, and a durable spine that easily opens and lays flat without shredding the paper.

I keep mine in the matching leather cover, but even without it I have an attractive and professional-looking notebook that packages the key player in this whole affair: the paper.

This is a very forgiving paper. Even my wettest-writing fountain pen can be used with impunity: a flex nib that lays down a veritable pool of ink. This paper soaks it up with nary a feather to be seen. There is a bit of tooth to the page and I'm fine with that. This is a notebook, not a piece of fine stationary.

A previous reviewer took issue with the price at $0.10/sheet. I consider that relatively cheap. A big part of that is because it's easy to write on both sides of each sheet; the binding allows the notebook to lay flat (or invert) and the paper shows little bleedthrough. In comparison the traditional fountain-pen-notebook, Moleskine, is more than 25% pricier for each smaller, less-forgiving page.

Love, love these. Can't find elsewhere, have to get on Amazon. Thick paper and sturdy. Can use both sides. Hate the front sticker, only complaint. Very professional, not at all child-like like so many you see at Office Max etc.

For the money you can get much better notebooks. For $7.99 this notebook just wasn't that great. The paper quality was fantastic but not so much better than other notebooks to warrant this price. It isn't even hardback. And it only has 80 pages. That's 10 cents a PAGE. Really not worth it.

The Mead Cambridge notebooks are top notch. The paper quality and thickness far exceeds the typical dept. store notebooks. There is no bleed-through to the back of the page. This sturdy notebook will keep your notes longer; built to last - I highly recommend these notebooks.

I buy a lot of these and take this notebook everywhere at work. Perfect for taking work notes.

I purchased the item based on the picture which showed showed the Cambridge Limited Notebook with pages layed out having a Yellow Notes portion on the bottom. What I received was a plain college ruled notebook. I made 2 attempts to contact customer service and never heard back. The shipper of the product was Discount Office Supplies. I recommend no one purchase any of these products.
