I buy by the box cuz I have a tribe of youngsters practising their writing & drawing skills. They love starting a big empty book. I always write & draw on the front page before I wrap 'em for birthdays or Xmas. I also give a set of colorful Pentel Mini R.S.V.P. Ball Point Pens, 1.0 Millimeter Medium Tip, Assorted Ink Colors, 8-Pack (BK91MNBP8M) which fit their hands perfectly.

Good value no question for the money only snag is trying to tear out the paper is tricky

One Composition book for $1.13 or 12 for $1.33 each? Does anyone pay attention to the pricing at all or does the computer just tweak prices around based on how much of a sucker it thinks I am?

I couldn't find these anywhere in the stores. My daughter needed marble notebooks for kindergarten, and I didn't want to get her just black and white. She needed 4 marble notebooks, so these are perfect because there are different colors for different subjects. I love them!

Dump your yellow pads and join the mead composition book club. The thickness of the pages just perfect (thin enough so you can feel you've wrote on them, I love it!). Different colors for different subjects and the old school look. Perfect for work or school, these notebooks continue to knock my socks off like the first time, no matter how many other books I buy. Can't beat the price, either.
